The project involved renovation of an existing 1,310 sf facility, expanding to 2,826 sf. The site included new 11 parking spaces and an 851 sf exterior work prep-area.
NPAD’s responsibility was to document the existing conditions and engage the client in a design approach that included a new auto paint area with exclusive drying area, a multi-car bay garage and a customer waiting area. The constraints of project with respect to zoning prevented the existing footprint from expanding beyond its existing. Our approach involved inviting exterior natural lighting into the work area with transom windows.
The facility when completed will be a significant improvement to the area and will a work environment that the employees will enjoy spending their work day, increasing productivity and providing a better quality of service.
